Keep Love.
@TreMission just dropped the 1st single for his debut album #Malmaison entitled, “Introdeuce”. The talented Canadian grime MC is also a seriously sick producer. This one takes a highly influential and technical note from the Jaime XX’s eclectic “Far Nearer”; long intro, bright melodies, and a tempo dip to the 120s; that reverse nostalgic vibe which always moves you forward. The Jaime XX comparison is no long thing though. Tre had done a classy vocal cover of the tune last year on “Hilroy”.
All production aside, Tre’s bars come off clear, clever and concise, per usual. The opening bars, “Hundred dolla bills, new ones. Cheese inna rizzla, blue ones” opens the tune up to a conscious lyrical display and self-aware street perspective. Tre’s refreshing subject matter bleeds into an already groundbreaking non-UK grime style, creating some truly original material. Although the track is slated kick off Malmaison, man is giving this one away for free. Get dat.
#RuffSqwad showing their best on “Cold” over a melodic @MerlinOfficial riddim. Reminiscent of the crew’s former styles; deep, emotive back-2-back lyrical display. Tinchy even makes an appearance on this. Kicking off the year with strong singles and the massive WLC Vol. 1 release, 2013 looking good for the sqwad.
@TRCProducer remix I made with my boy JRokk last summer. Added a 32-bar vocal. Outs to TRC and the @Butterz camp for releasing the stems public.
This @SBTVOnline promo video for the @TheBoxettes is on a next level. These girls are flexing some serious innovation. Not only constructing their tunes exclusively through the art of beatboxing, but these femme fatales are granting the gyal dem some props in a urban element (beatbox) typified by male dominance. Really cannot wait to see what these girls do in 2013, as this 1-minute got a clutch on my attention, no doubt.
— Vibezing off @ElliottNiezel feat @KD205 w/ their collaboration joint, “Rollz” from the @MrWonderfulKC produced “WOnderlAnd” project. Visuals shot by @Hollowent in #ATL when EN hit A3C last year. Rollz it up and bump this out!
